Miller Lite Tap the Future is a business competition that empowers you to pitch your business, display your passion and become who you want to be. Entrepreneurs will compete for the following prizes:
Please refer to the official rules to determine if your business qualifies.
Deadline for entering is April 14.
The rules can be found here.
You can enter your answers in a text box directly under each question. Just watch out for the character count! The text box won’t let you enter more than the amount indicated.
Only one entry per business is permissible. That means that none of your friends or business partners can submit a separate entry for the same business.
We love your enthusiasm; unfortunately our judges will have their hands full with the required information and will not review any additional materials.
No. We cannot accept applications outside of the entry portal available at MLTaptheFuture.com.
No biggie. You can enter projections of your financials. Our judges pay very close attention to the numbers, so make sure that your projections are realistic and are aligned with your business industry. We will ask for more detailed financials if your team advances to the final round.
Per the rules, a team of judges reviews the entries and will select the top 5 business ideas from each LIVE pitch market.
Markets are broken into five locations:
The states that correspond to each LIVE pitch market are as follows:
You and your business partners will be invited to pitch your business idea to a panel of business experts, including Daymond John from ABC's Shark Tank. The best business will win a $20,000 prize. How cool is that?
Preliminary judging is done by a dedicated team of business experts at BMO Harris Bank. The Live Pitch Event and National Judges are listed here.
We work with a group of professionals who sign confidentiality agreements.
The LIVE pitch events are scheduled for Summer 2017. We will send the exact dates closer to the actual event. You and your friends will have a couple of weeks to plan.
We hate being the bearer of bad news, but we will send you an email letting you know your status.
The bad news is that we can't provide feedback to the thousands of people applying. The good news is that the website will have useful articles written by business experts that know lots of great stuff that can help your team take your business to the next level.
